With Film Istanbul KiNo alludes to the city’s psychological and historical layers through select personages and reveals what only can be captured by a poet in search of the essence of Istanbul, inspiration, love and adventure.

A silent film by KiNo in collaboration with Richie Hawtin, Plastikman. In August ‘015, KiNo went to Tbilisi to join Hawtin for filming the rave organised at the Old Hippodrome, hardly containing the 3000 fans who had anticipated the Dj’s first appearance in their country for a long time.

Following the invitation of an actress, KiNo goes to Istanbul to take a break from New York life and produce a series of films. Quickly after arrival, he finds himself on his own. Now, stranded in a strange land with strange emotions, he starts working on this song.
