VISSI D’ARTE — KiNo

If there is a single piece of music from the classical cannon that can faithfully represent my intellectual and sensual life in Italy, it would be this aria by Puccini, from the blasting Opera of all operas Tosca.

The title itself should provide enough evidence for what I am referring to; I Lived for Art. The version by Maria Callas dices me.

My version of this aria is instrumental at the moment. It sounds like Roma, as baroque as midnight. And performed and recorded on a harpsichord from the 18th century, courtesy of St. Cecilia Orchestra.
