How jolly, we found water on Mars with our fancy equipments. Well, the rare elements that is every circuit of that Rover is mined from Africa, the most plundered place on earth, where people are still having a tough time to access clean water. In fact, on macro level, you can see that the whole industrialised world was built by the raw materials and wealth acquired by murder and pillaging, not to mention the free labour (oh dear, unthinkable!), so one day we could colonise another planet. That’s the evolution for you. That’s progress. Cool, innit?
