In reaction to this particular news:
YouTube is preparing to radically change the site, adding a subscription service that is intended to help them compete in the streaming music industry. The Google GOOGL +0.1%-owned video site has already signed new licensing deals with all of the major labels, but many independents are refusing to take part. Apparently, not only are smaller, indie labels not being offered the same deals as the majors, but the contracts that Google is putting in front of them are less than fair.
The very same idea is also being applied to every aspect of your internet use with the abolishment of net neutrality. You see, it’s very simple, the corporations and their filth are firmly hardwired into the eyes, ears and mouths of sleepwalking billions. I’ll say it again, there will be a whole another network, another ‘internet’ one day where none of these fuckers can bring their ‘technological commercial schemes’ in. I promise you. No ads, no facebook, no clickthroughs, no google. It will happen and the fucking world bloody well needs it. It should be called Metanet.
I must also say that I find the mainstream culture exceeding all limits of abhorrence.
